The positive side of filmmaking

 The movies could be a great source of knowledge such as it could be educational to the student to learn different languages by watching movies with subtitles or watch a historical movie as it's proven that watching is far better than reading a book or subtitle as it creates a sense of imagery and better understanding. 

The films help us learn new things, for example, new vocabulary words that you never knew existed. 

The movies could also create a sense of motivation for their audience like from the movie life of pi how it creates a reason for him to survive even if he is alone and how he survives the 227 days with a wild tiger on the same boat as him. 

We could also learn real-life lessons from movies as many are based on the reality of the real world.
