Hypodermic needle syringe theory

 Hypodermic syringe theory is also known as the magic bullet theory it was created by Harold Lasswell in the 1920s during world war explaining the effect of the media power and growth on audience, in this theory he explains;

How the media controlled the audience and their desires. The audience lacked the control and were bound to follow for example a tv channel cant be changed according to audience desire as they have fixed time for each show and they will show what they like. Harold Lasswell says The media’s message is directly “injected” into the “bloodstream” of a population like fluid from a syringe explaining how the media delivered the message to masses and how the audience consumed it without knowing or asking questions.

 The way media conveyed the message was so powerful that it had was so strong that it could cause a change in audience behavior, Messages in media industries were so static that were created to achieve the desired response from the audience as m the media demanded.
