5 stages of film production

 Development is the first stage of film production this includes the production process and all other phases including the storyboard this could be either completed in months or years depending on who is involved and the type of film it is such as sci-fi or animated.

Pre-production is the stage where it is planned how the film will be shooted and where will t take place according to that the production company and office will settle. This could also involve the finalization of the script and the director will start directing the cast actors for a proper approval related to the film will also include arranging all the equipment and gear that will be required.

Production is when the shooting for the film begins during this period the additional crew will be hired such as the CGI artist and the makeup department will be responsible for the looks and appearance of the actors. The film shooting plan will go according to the director's vision and later on the clips will be finalized to form into a proper sequence f necessary.

Post-production is when all the shooting will be completed and the work would be forwarded to the editing and sound department to cut the clip together to make the scenes and the entire film and the sounds such as score and environmental sound will be added by the sound artist and VFX artist will look over the video editing effects.

Distribution is the final stage as it showed the movie is ready to be viewed and it start publishing and market worldwide and the advertisement plan is created.
