White balance
-What is white balance?
White balance is when the camera detects white as a proper white color and we then assume that the camera will be able to detect all other colors if it can detect white clearly.
-What is it used for?
White balance is used to adjust the colors of the location/scene to math its light source so that white is shown as white.
White balance is measured in kelvin degrees to achieve accurate results. Kelvin is the color temperature for example the mouse commonly used for photography and videography are from a candlelight source to the sun and cloudy light source these degrees range between 2000-6500.
custom white balance is used by high-end production companies and professionals to achieve maximum white balance, this is not auto adjusted and is to be set by the camera man and it mostly depends on the light of the scene.
These are different types of kelvin color temperature features available in your camera.
